The Big Cover Up Part II

Don't ask me how they got there, but also to be found in the Accessories Department are a wide array of caftans of varying lengths, the majority on the short side. Most are made of of sheer and semi sheer cotton prints and adorned with embroidery or beading. The are reasonably priced and perfect for summer either as a bathing suit coverup or over a pair of white slacks or capris with a cami underneath. Just make sure you try them on before you purchase or like me you may be making another trip back to the store. The tricky part is the fit especially the length. Proportion is everything and too long can make you look as if you're standing in a hole. Too short may not lay smoothly over the hips or hit you at your widest point. Profit from my experience! Bear in mind that this look works best with narrow pants regardless of their length.
While browsing that deparment you may be tempted by some puckered top sundresses. Their tags advertise that they can double as a bathing suit coverup or skirt. Either way not a good look for us. Elegant they are NOT although your granddaughter might like them.
